Black Hearted Press is proud to announce a new phase in our young companies development. The end of 2012, brings a change in ownership for the company, expanding the partnership to include two new and exciting talents.
Mark Boyle and Jack Lothian will join John Farman and Sha Nazir in expanding the companies output, as well as brand new titles coming out in 2013, established favourites ‘School of the Damned’, ‘Maximum Alan’ & ‘Laptop Guy’ will also be joined by ‘Frankie’ & Jenny’ and the controversial ‘Royal Descent’. Further to this, BHP will be further expanding into media, games and apps for the ipad and smartphone devices.

Mark Boyle has been a comic lover since an early age and a true follower of fantasy fiction. A passionate music lover Mark is sometimes known as Dj Muppet a stalwart in the Glasgow and Scottish rock scene he has been part of many major music events up and down the UK and is currently using his creative digital talents in a number of projects including The Man Card Army application for Android and iOS and other application through Anubis Labs.
Jack Lothian

Jack Lothian is a film and television writer. His television credits range from Ashes to Ashes and Skins toOutcasts and Teachers, which gained him nominations for Best Writer at the BAFTAs and Best New Writer at the Broadcast Awards. He is currently writing for Shameless on Channel 4, Doc Martin for ITV and Sinbad, which airs on Sky One in the UK and the Syfy Channel in the USA and Asia.
Jack was nominated for a Best Newcomer BAFTA for his first feature film, Late Night Shopping, which won the CICAE Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
